Deadlines drive focus.
The closer the deadline, the greater your focus and motivation to meet it, especially if you haven’t kept your daily writing appointments with yourself.
The easiest way to meet a deadline is to work consistently toward that goal. Share on XWhat’s easier, writing 50,000 words in a week because you ignored your deadline for three weeks? Or writing 1,925 words each day, while taking Sundays off?
Writing daily, it’s easier, obviously, because each day’s writing is a small, manageable chunk.
When you ignore your small, manageable daily chunks of writing, your molehill of work becomes a mountain.
Proverbs 21:5 supports daily effort beautifully.
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.“
This is why your complete, detailed Roadmap for Author Success is so vital.
