Pessimism is the killer of my dreams. Yours too.
When I permit a negative mindset to direct my actions, I drop a wet blanket over my potential and my abilities. I blunt the tools I need to achieve success.
A far better plan is to approach every minute of my day with courageous optimism.

Yesterday I spoke of the importance of a positive mental attitude from the moment I wake up to the moment I drift off to sleep; of making a conscious decision to be happy and excited that I woke up today.
Today is the greatest gift imaginable, yet one we don’t fully appreciate most days.
It’s the difference between “have to” and “get to”.
I don’t HAVE to wake up at 7am and crawl out of bed.
I GET to wake up at 7am and embrace my day with joy and gratitude!
Pessimism is a choice.
It’s also the default option in my brain. Yours, too?
Unless I consciously decide to embrace the moment in gratitude, love joy, compassion and courage.
