Yesterday we discussed personal integrity – doing what I said I would do, when I said I would do it, whether I feel like it or not.
Today we’ll discuss diligence with a future focus.
Once we examine the options before us and pick one, our most important step is to take immediate and effective action to turn that decision into action.
Todd Herman’s 90-Day Year philosophy boils down to this.
The results I’m seeing in my life today – good and bad – are the direct result of the decisions and actions I took 90 to 100 days ago.
So, if your decision is to write the first draft of your book, you have a few choices.
Assuming your book isn’t finished yet, and you’re not making the forward progress you would like, your first choice is to continue doing what you’ve been doing for the past 90 days.
Probably not the best choice, since you’re not making the progress you want.
Your second choice is to make a different decision and take a different action as a result of that decision and see how that pans out over the next 90 days.
Your third choice is to ask for outside help so you can gain the clarity you need to spark your inner drive to get your book finished.
Let me know in the comments what your next step is to move your book forward!
