Everyone has talent. What’s rare is the courage to follow it to the dark places where it leads. -Erica Jong

Today is the day we call on our courage so we can step out of the perceived safety of our comfort zone and into the real world where all our dreams come true.

The comfort zone is where all of my dreams go to die. That’s probably true for you too. It’s like the claim, “I’m going to write my book some day” that keeps your published book trapped on Someday Island.

Whether you’re trapped in your comfort zone or your book is trapped on Someday Island, the effect is the same. Your book will never get written, let alone published.

You’re here, watching me today because you have a deep desire to write and publish your book, so I have a few questions for you.

Have you started to write your book?

If yes, fantastic!

If no, have you completed your detailed outline?

Have you taken an deep dive into your mind to uncover WHY this book is so important to you?

If yes, fantastic!

If no, what limiting beliefs are holding you back from doing this essential work?

Have you set a deadline for you to complete your first draft?

If yes, fantastic!

If no, why not?

A deadline, especially an uncomfortably close deadline, is critical to your success.

All of these, and more, are part of your detailed Roadmap for Author Success.

If you don’t have one yet, or don’t know what that is, join me on December 12th for UNSTUCK: the free 5-Day Workshop for Christian Non-Fiction Authors.
