Writing is a discipline that requires clarity of thought and expression.
Writing well requires organized and coherent thoughts, the ability to see connections where others can’t and, most important of all, the ability to express yourself clearly through the written word.
And the more clearly I can communicate, the better my relationships are with the people I love and care about most.
If I can’t communicate clearly – if I can’t think well – others will do the thinking for me.
