Without emotion, it’s all but impossible to build that all-important reader connection.
The point of writing what we love is so we can “easily transfer” our passion to our readers.
If you struggle to feel or even connect with your passion when you love your subject matter, it’s probably time for you to do some deep internal work before you take up your manuscript again.
The most important internal work you can do is to connect deeply with your why, because this is the power source for everything you do and everything you write. Share on X- Why do you want to write this book?
- What impact do you want your book to make on your ideal reader?
- Who is your ideal reader?
- When is your ideal writing time each day?
- Where do you write best?
- How will your life change when you write and publish your book?
These questions all have layers upon layers of answers.
It’s your job to peel back as many layers of this onion as possible so you can get to the source of your power.
While you can do this exercise yourself, your results will be greater when you have someone else facilitate this deep dive inside your mind; someone willing to challenge you when you think you’ve gone deep enough or are afraid to go as far as is necessary.
If you want the help of an experienced facilitator in this process, schedule your free 30-minute “Turn Your Dreams Into Reality” clarity call with me today.
