I talk a lot about my personal mantra: “Make a decision. Follow it with immediate action. Repeat.”
But no matter how diligently I work that system, at the end of some days the gas tank is empty.
I’m mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted and there is no “just one more step” left in me.
On those days it’s critical for me to realize I’ve done my best and that simply must be good enough.
On those days, it’s also critical to acknowledge the progress I made so far and be grateful for it.
The same is true for you.
If this describes you today, make a commitment to yourself.
“I will try again tomorrow.”
Then set yourself up for success by writing down three bullet points you will implement tomorrow.
Get a really great night’s sleep so you’re refreshed and recharged when the morning comes.
