When designing your writing personal routine, make sure you build it on a foundation of Personal Integrity.
That means that you schedule your writing sessions on your calendar.
It means you always keep your writing appointments with yourself.
It means you set a minimum word count for your sessions, and that you set a hard deadline for the completion of your first draft.
If you’re unsure how to set a realistic deadline, please reach out to me and I’ll walk you through the Manuscript Math calculation. It’s fun and so empowering.
Personal Integrity simple means that I do what I say I will do,
when I said I will do it, whether I feel like it or not.
When we approach our writing sessions (and our lives) with courage and fearlessness, we’re simply far more productive.
And don’t forget to ask for help when you need it or, even more importantly, always celebrate your wins, no matter how small or how big.
If you need a little nudge to step out of your comfort zone, book a free 30-minute “Turn My Dreams into Reality” clarity call with me.
