The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.

Alice Walker

The simple truth is we have exactly the amount of power we believe we have.

If we believe we don’t have any power then, guess what?  We don’t have any power.

Shocking, right?

But when we DO believe we have power, we are #UNSTOPPABLE.

It’s a beautiful thing!

The concept is mind-numbingly simple, yet it can be ridiculously difficult to implement, too.

Why is that?

Limiting beliefs about ourselves don’t vanish overnight. It takes time and consistent effort to wipe the slate of our minds clean of this garbage and rewrite our internal script with effective and empowering language.

To paraphrase Henry Ford:

Whether you believe you CAN write a book or believe you can’t, your absolutely correct.

And that’s sad.

Thankfully, the script is easy to flip using these simple and effective mantras:

“I can write my book”

“I will write my book”

“I must write my book”

“I am bigger than my limiting beliefs….”

And in case you are surrounded by Negative Nellies who insist you can’t write a book or others who refuse to support your author journey…

“And I’m bigger than your limiting beliefs about me too.”
