If you need to ask someone’s permission, it’s not your dream you’re following. It’s theirs.
Do you want to be successful?
Do you want to live the life of your dreams?
Do you want to fulfill the purpose you know you were born for?
Then stop asking permission.
Stop living in fear.
Do what you need to do to achieve your dreams knowing, deep in your heart and deep in your soul, this is what you were born to do.
This is what you were born to accomplish.
So just do it, as the Nike slogan says.
It doesn’t have to be difficult. It really doesn’t.
1. Define the steps to achieve your dream.
2. Make the decision to complete them all.
3. Follow your excellent decision with immediate action on the next step to achieve your dream.
Repeat.
Successful people aren’t at the top of their field by accident. They’re successful because they took calculated risks and didn’t ask permission from anyone first.
If you must ask for permission, it means you lack power in that situation.
To become truly great in your chosen field, embrace your courageous. Embrace your determination to succeed – no matter what obstacles you discover along the way.
Then, at every crossroads of your journey, make the brave and courageous choice that will propel you forward the fastest.
Don’t ask permission from anyone.
BUT this means you must also take extreme ownership for both your successes and your failures.
Scary?
Sure, but turning your dreams into reality is never free (or without trepidation at some point).
