A day without writing is a day unworthy of living. Okay, that’s a bit of a stretch, but I can no more stop writing than I can stop breathing.

Writing is essential for my mental health, my peace of mind and my happiness.

If writing is something you know you “should” do, but you lack the passion for it, then hire a ghostwriter. You will be far happier and you will have a much better end product, as well.

But if you can’t live without writing either, welcome to the fraternity!

Publication Highway is the road we travel when we decide we want to write a book.

There are many twists and turns along the way, many bridges to cross and ditches to avoid as we go from blank page to finished first draft, and finally to published book.

Discipline is gets you writing when nothing else can. Your discipline to sit down and write because it’s the time you scheduled to write is the essential skill from which all others flow.

It’s essential to know your passion, your purpose for writing the book you were born to write.  Commitment is great, but without action to transform your commitment into words on the page, it’s not that helpful.

It’s on these days that discipline will save you from yourself.
